August 2005 - Extreme Products

The DMP 334 has been designed to cater for pressure ranges of up to 4,000 bar!  The product is rugged and reliable in design and has been developed to incorporate metal to metal sealing pressure ports to ensure safe coupling with pipework and fittings.  Accuracy is still maintained through the pressure ranges and being fully temperature compensated and calibrated means this product is very stable and repeatable in even the most harsh environments.

Having the option of installing an integrated cooling element into the pressure port of the DMP 331 P means the maximum process temperatures can be increased from the standard 125°C up to 300°C.  By using a cooling coil system and an oil filled diaphragm the temperature reduces significantly by the time it reaches the sensing element to within the required operating range.  Two versions are available: 150° reducer and 300°C reducer, both types maintain the accuracy of the device.

The Vibrotemp screw-in resistance thermometer enables temperature measurement under pressure in motors, compressors, plant engineering and in shipbuilding.  The product incorporates a locking system between element and connector that has IP65 or IP69K protection rating when assembled.  The device is fitted with a Pt100 temperature sensor to EN 60 751, Class B in 2-wire circuit. Versions with Pt500 or Pt1000 as well as semiconductor or NTC temperature sensors can also be supplied.
